Falling Silver
Mars Angulo

Silver Moon, come talk to me; I'll wait at treetops in the sky.
Plums on a cold tree that match the hue of your face.
Breath of an angel, lay your wings down on me, and bring a fire to my
soul.

Just how it used to be...

Silver-covered sidewalks that gleam in my eyes.
My feet rustle through the silver crescent with footsteps of the past.
Snow starts to fall, and I can't find your eyes to watch.

Just how it used to be...

Kitten in the snow, I'm starting to get cold, buried in what was lost.
The void in the cold snow carries the sliver of grief.
I'll read the face of the moon while I wait in the high treetops and watch the snow fall.
Just how it used to be...
